Hi. Mando? This is Ezra Bridger - the other Jedi you ran into in quick succession in Exile a bit ago.

I just wanted to thank you for looking after Obi-Wan. And also to let you know he's from about decade before The Clones War, hence some of the confusion.

A decade? [Give him a moment to figure out the math in his head.]

He's...a long time behind me.

Yeah. I was born at the Empire's founding. I met him - the first time - as a master Jedi in hiding, in his 50s.

This guy's 25, if my math's right.

I was...eleven. When the Empire started. [Give him a second to do the math. This whole timeline business is so strange.]

....and when did you meet him?

Hmm. I was 17. I went AWOL from the Rebel Alliance because I thought well - one, that he was still alive despite some pretty reliable confirmation of his death at the fall of the Republic. And two, that someone else had found him and was going to kill him.

It was, uh, not my most shining moment, to be honest. He ended up saving me. [In more ways than one, in Ezra's opinion.]
